Grooving music with a hard-hitting beat that leaves you startled yet oozing with peace. Such is the summary of the “Together as One” video produced by Santa Fe Music Videos.
The startling parts of the video come from shocking facts, figures and images – although anyone living in America of late should not be too shocked by statistics the video reveals. One in 45 children is homeless in the U.S. An estimated 643, 067 people are homeless across the nation on any given night. More than 50 percent of Americans live below the poverty line. The video adds to the shock with crisp images of begging children and hungry families. Protestors tout signs like, “Dear Wall Street, Learn to share. Thank you.”
Kooky news and even kookier crimes have been the staple on Rynski’s Shattered Reality for its past year-plus of production but, alas, the time has come to take a hiatus.
Other projects are screaming for my attention. It’s time to write the sequel to “Moby Dick.” Then perhaps publish some other stuff I have lying around. Stay tuned!
In the interim, let’s celebrate the finale of a season well-done with a music-only show. It comes about, in part, to start the hiatus early. It comes about, in the other part, because this week’s weird news selection stank.
The zaniest tidbit around was about a newborn zebra somewhere in China that only eats if fed by a person wearing a black and white striped shirt.
So get ready for some rollicking music. The planned theme is finishing off the elements with songs about air. But there might also be some surprises in store.
Thanks! to all who listened in, provided requests and helped the show be a success.
McDonald’s is known for serving up billions of burgers, but a manager at a Georgia location reportedly instead decided to serve up a punch in the face.
The manager, Tiffany Denise Allen, is being charged with simple battery, simple assault fear and disorderly conduct after following a customer out into the parking lot and then allegedly punching the customer in the head.
That story and more are up this week on Rynski’s Shattered Reality radio show on Party934.com and FM 94.9 in Hudson Valley, N.Y.
Next show is Wednesday, July 27 (today!) and every Wednesday online at Party934.com. Showtime is noon in Arizona, 3 p.m. EST.
Party 934 is a radio alternative for listeners sick of stations that play one song followed by 500 commercials.
This week finishes off our deluge of WATER songs and we’ve been finely going with the flow.
Thanks! to all who keep the song requests coming.
Also Thanks! to all who tuned in. Rynski’s Shattered Reality will be going on hiatus after the Aug. 3 show – but you can still catch the downloads of past shows on iTunes and the Radio Teaser section of ryngargulinski.com.
