Stripper’s heel shatters man’s eye socket – Rynski radio – UPDATE with playlist and download

Going to a strip club can cause more problems than just getting busted by your wife – those stripper shoes can cause some serious injury. One Florida man found this out when a stripper’s platform heel shattered his eye socket – and he’s now suing the joint for $650, 000.

Imagine one of these heels in your eye/Thinkstock

That story and more are up this week on Rynski’s Shattered Reality radio show on Party934.com and FM 94.9 in Hudson Valley, N.Y.

Next show is Wednesday, Oct. 20 (today!) and every Wednesday online at Party934.com. Showtime is noon in Arizona, 3 p.m. EST.

Party 934 is a radio alternative for listeners sick of stations that play one song followed by 500 commercials.

ANIMALS are this week’s theme and we’re loaded with tunes mentioning everything from pigs to unicorns – as well as our weekly polka fix, of course.

Thanks! to all who listen in and offer suggestions.

UPDATE:

The June 16 debut of Rynski’s Shattered Reality was largely marred by a fuzzy microphone, so I will not be posting its recording.

But please get ready for smoother sailing – and a brand new mic – for next week’s show on Wednesday, June 23.

As per e-mailed request, I am providing the playlist from this week’s show.

The Doors – Not to Touch the Earth
Pink Martini – The Gardens of Sampson and Beasley

The Majic Dragon – The Worm

Beatles – Dear Prudence
Violent Femmes – Please Do Not Go

Next week’s hopefuls include music by Renaissance for Radmax, Eric Heithaus’s band Ancient Astronauts, a song relating to Arkansas for Ferrari Bubba and, for Leftfield, one version or another of Kumbaya.

Feel free to leave comments below for possible inclusion in the broadcast. Also feel free to request songs, which I will try to fulfill for the following week.

Also welcome music from local bands or others with obscure or interesting music. E-mail MP3 of song(s), requests or comments to rynski@tucsoncitizen.com
