A longtime McDonald’s manager said working around all those Big Macs made him a big man, gaining a hefty 65 pounds. So he sued the Golden Arches – and won.

OK, Ryn, here’s a few family themed songs by one of my long-time favorites, the Violent Femmes: Gone Daddy Gone; Old Mother Reagan; Gimme The Car; Country Death Song. Gimme The Car is about asking dad for the car and Country Death Song is about a man who, in desperation, kills his daughter and takes his own life.
I’m not sure about the guy winning a suit against McDonald’s for gaining weight, but I wouldn’t be opposed to requiring a similar warning on fast foods as we have on cigarettes.
hey leftfield – thank you!! for the beautiful family themed songs – YES! gone daddy gone is always tops – will also check out your others – especially the happy pappy country death song. coooool.
i agree the fast foods should have a warning – BIG WARNING! – not only do they make some people fat, but some of the additives can lead to a host of physical and mental abnormalities – from diabetes to depression. good call.
creepy free-for-all on NOW….enjoy if you’re listening!
I listened to the last half hour today.
The guy at McDonalds should have spilled the coffee on his lap for an extra 2.8 million.
MTH: I Wish I Was Your Mother.
yaay! glad you were able to catch part o’ the show, alan in kent wa – and what a brilliant idea on the mcdonald’s man getting even more cash for HOT coffee spill – hahahahha.
thanks for listening – and thanks for MTH family songs request – you got it!
Just caught the show on download media maven, awesome yet again…maybe we could talk you into donating your time for the good of us all and doing this full time? 😉
PS-Manson belongs behind bars, if for nothing else, those horrid tunes… 🙂 also that Rammstein tune that you played was “Vampire”, apropos.
hahahhaha! so you’re not a manson music fan? oh, too bad – as i just found a whole album of him with the family singing background.
thanks for info on rammstein tune – and very much!! thanks for your continued support and compliments on the radio show. i would love to do show more often but, alas, don’t have the time to spare with other gigs (that pay) going on – hey! can you up a radio fund perhaps on that website of yours, that radmax scam one?
hahhahaha.
Stones tunes:
Crazy Mama, Dance Little Sister, Have You Seen Your Mother, Baby (Standing In The Shadows), Happy, and Mother’s Little Helper.
yaaay! mother’s little helper is in, for sure – and perhaps others. no sister morphine???
thanks, scout’s mom!
